היחידה להפרעות אכילה במרכז הרפואי שמיר (אסף הרופא) מספקת טיפול רב-מקצועי לילדים ובני נוער בגילאי 10-18 הסובלים מהפרעות אכילה שונות, במסגרת אשפוז יום. הטיפול כולל שגרה מותאמת אישית, מעקב רפואי, טיפול רגשי ומשפחתי, לצד פעילויות חינוכיות ושיקום תפקוד חברתי. היחידה מבצעת גם הכשרה, הוראה ומחקר בתחום.
