Joint-Ashalim – “Hibuki” program

“Hibuki” is a unique initiative designed to help children aged 3-8 who have experienced traumatic events. At the heart of the program is a special dog-shaped doll with long arms that provide a hugging sensation and sad eyes reflecting the children’s emotions. The interaction with the doll, conducted in a group setting led by a teacher or caregiver professionally trained in the “Hibuki” method, allows children to express feelings and process experiences indirectly and safely. Through the doll, children experience a sense of control, empathy, and support, which helps strengthen their inner resilience. Since its establishment, the program has helped over 70,000 children cope with trauma and crises.
