Otot

Otot provides a safe, stable home for more than 1,500 young people annually, ages 12-26, from all sectors of Israeli society including religious, ultra-Orthodox, Arab and LGBTQ+ communities. As survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and extreme poverty, our residents’ needs are vast. We are committed to giving them the counselling and support services to re-integrate into society. Every aspect of the Otot experience – from the physical design of the rooms to the individualized educational and occupational programs – reflects our focus on empowering our residents. Our staff, including social workers, psychiatrists and trained counselors, are trained in crisis management and trauma therapy.
