The association is made up of family members of mentally ill people in Israel. Its purpose is to act on behalf of the contestants and their families for the realization and expansion of rights, for optimal care, for rehabilitation in the community and for information among decision makers, among the establishment and among the public. The tools through which the association operates are the promotion of legislation and regulations as well as direct assistance to families

העמותה מורכבת מבני משפחה של אנשים המתמודדים עם מחלות נפש בישראל. מטרתה לפעול בשם המתמודדים ובני משפחותיהם למען מימוש והרחבת זכויות, לטיפול מיטבי, לשיקום בקהילה ולמתן מידע בקרב מקבלי ההחלטות, הממסד והציבור. הכלים בהם העמותה פועלת כוללים קידום חקיקה ותקנות וכן מתן סיוע ישיר למשפחות.
